Description
Do you need to pass the driving test in Washington state? Do you crave the freedom and mobility that comes with having your driver’s license, but you’re worried about the test?
Have you failed your driving test? Wouldn’t it be great to pass the driving test on your next try?
Do you have to pass the driving test in order to keep the license you have, or to get back a license that was taken away?
People are counting on you, and you don’t want to let them down by failing the test. You don’t want to let yourself down either! You have to pass the test, because you need to drive to work. Or school. Or to help out a friend, or family member.
My online training course, Pass the Washington State Driving Test, will help you pass the test. You’ll get access to nine video lessons that show you exactly what to do to pass the driving test. This course will teach you:
- Exactly what to do on each part of the Washington driving test
- The words and phrases the examiner will use when they give instructions
- How to avoid the most common errors
- The automatic failures that will make you fail the test instantly
By learning these things, you will:
- Be ready for the test and know what you’re supposed to do
- Be more calm and confident on test day
- Know what to focus on and pay attention to when you practice each maneuver
- Know how the scoring system works, and which errors you must avoid
- Pass the test!
This course has nine video lessons that walk you through each part of the test. The videos are a combination of me calmly explaining that part of the test, and then patiently demonstrating that part of the test in the car. Each lesson comes with a study guide that you can download and read or print. Many of the lessons have diagrams that illustrate the do’s and don’ts of each maneuver.
NEW FEATURE: DOWNLOAD AUDIO VERSION OF EACH LESSON
After getting several requests from students, I added audio-only versions of every lesson in the course! Now you can download lessons as MP3 files to your mobile device and listen to them in the car while you are practicing for the test.

I Found myself in the unique position of having to take my testing all over again after almost 40 years. This led me to assume that I could pass a road test without a little brush up because I have been driving for so long. Then of course when I promptly did something to “autofail”, due to bad habits I had picked up over the years, my confidence was rocked. I was quite uncertain about my ability to pass this test. I was embarrassed that I had become complacent.
This course offered me a tangible, (video, reading, audio) way to engage in valuable lessons.
It gave me confidence and I did not fear the testing procedure at all. I passed with flying colors.
Best of all, it’s a great brush up of better vision so I may drive with more safely with the precious grandbabies in the car.
You will enjoy this course. I did.

I passed my driver test on the first go today in Spokane. I live quite rural so seeing the examples gave me a more clear idea of where to focus my urban practice before the test. Thanks for these videos, they definitely helped me feel more prepared so I could focus on the actual maneuvers instead of panicking :).

This course helped prepare me for the road test mentally. I was able to know what to expect on the test and get some inside tips on how it is scored. I have bad anxiety and this helped me when I wasn’t physically driving. The reason I purchased this course was because it was specifically for WA state. The free course is helpful, but if you’re nervous about the test at all, I’d say this is a great purchase to help ease some of your fears. There’s videos for everything that’s on the road test and he gives you extra tips to help you. I’ll admit that I saw this course a few months back, but didn’t want to spend the money on it. As I got closer to scheduling the road test, I decided to try it and figured it couldn’t hurt. I’m glad I did because he explains in detail how to perform the different maneuvers and provides little cheat sheets to help you.

This is really helpful! I passed my test on the first try with 96 and the examiner said my driving was “pretty much perfect”.

I took John’s online course. He was my main guiding light when I was in a very dark place and had no idea how to practice for the exam. I am very good at following directions if I am given just the facts and a clear explanation of them. He does that… no excess chatter. His calm and steady demeanor really helped to keep me calm and focused. His email communication was invaluable to my learning. He is very supportive, calm and thorough. He is a Master Examiner and teaches examiners. I highly recommend it.
He doesn’t teach you HOW to drive but teaches exactly what is required to PASS the WA state exam step by step. The Washington Driving exam is the most difficult in the 50 states (not my opinion but based on the study of all of the exams.) He knows exactly what they are looking and watching for and if you really put the time and work in you will be ready.
I studied my brains out for the 8 days I was allowed to prepare before the test and then just had to rely on staying calm and focusing on what I needed to do.
He also works and interacts with you by email, answering your questions and giving you additional pointers. It was so helpful. I wouldn’t have passed without taking the course or him helping me. If you are going to take the exam in Washington state this is the source you need to check out. He has 4 free lessons to give you an idea of what the course is like before you pay for the whole course.
After the first lesson I realized this was exactly what I needed. It worked out great for this 67 year old man who had taken his first test back in 1967 at age 15…. it had been a while. Also that exam back then was in California which is different, actually easier. This exam was going to be a tough nut to crack. I needed and got John’s help.
Oh funny thing the examiner told me afterward the exam. She said I was talking to myself while I was driving during the exam. I was hearing John’s voice in my head and repeating what he had said in the videos …. things like ‘don’t hit the curb, don’t hit the curb’…. then ‘don’t hit the car, don’t hit the car’…. ‘make a full stop, make a full stop’. She said she had to keep herself from smiling and chuckling because she could hear my thoughts and knew I understood exactly what to do…. and I passed!

Washington State Driving Test and John helped me tremendously in
passing my first driving test with a score of 91%. This website
provided comprehensive information about the driving test process plus
tips, strategies and videos. These alleviated my fear and anxiety
during driving practice and the test itself. I focused on strategies
and tips that are provided in the premium package for the driving
test. The facts and information in the premium package is worth much
more than what you pay for. John was very helpful in responding to my
numerous questions. I consider washingtonstatedrivingtest.com and
John, blessings for my test’s successful outcome. What I learned will
help me gain confidence in driving responsively and defensively in the
future. Many thanks John!
